-So… Exactly WHY am I here again?–, he said rhetorically, scratching the tip of his nose.

There was an awkward silence in the “office”, whilst the rules and conditions of the “work” had already been settled; there were still a few too many unanswered questions.

-…Exactly what do you want us to do? –, the red-eyed fellow asked to the one sitting in front of him. The interest hadn’t sparked even a little bit in him, allowing him to keep his poker face. The thoughts inside him were contradictory, as usual, leaving a single glitter of supposition regarding about what he wanted him to do, and more important, why it had to be him. There were no other people among the lines of “Devil”, “Angel” and “Hunter” that were somehow related to him, in a little or bigger way; at least, he thought so by the time.
-I’ve already told you, I want you to recover my treasure. –He responded.
Sighing once again, like countless times he had already done by then, he contemplated at the old mortal sitting there. The old crook didn’t want to talk more, and that was both boring and pointless to his point of view.

-…Let me get this straight then -the young green-headed hedgehog said-. You want me to recover an unknown treasure, of both uncertain origin and description, from a “haunted” shipwreck, which you haven’t even dared to approach, while I give it back to you, fair and square?
-Yes, exactly.
Mikau wasn’t sure to laugh his ass off in front of the old, pathetic old mortal, or just dispatch him coldly. Again, the thoughts were contradicting, but even so, Mikau dared to continue trying to make sense of such ruckus.
-…If you know about me, then you must know that I’m not a simple delivery boy, –he continued, bitterness fairly noticeable in both his voice and demeanor-. I say again that you’re not giving me enough info on what you want to recover, nor are willing to tell me your reasons, and under such conditions, I won’t even consider making this a job.

Once again, the old man rubbed his forehead. This was going to lead nowhere…

Eerie winds piercing, whistling through putrid wood, cracking steps with every pace, a salty aroma was filling the air, vestiges of a flood on the walls could be seen, rusted chains and panels through the whole floor… Yeah, this was a shipwreck. The lack of oxygen was making it hard to breathe as well.

-AH-CHOOOOO!!!!-, Mikau sneezed, the echo of his voice bouncing back and forth through the hallways of the ship.

Ominous melancholy… yes… that was the word to describe it. Melancholy was emanating from every single corner of the forgotten vessel, like if it would be telling a sad story to Mikau, the only figure standing inside the old sea-crosser. Mikau could hear something, something which couldn’t be perceived by normal people; while the ship reeked on a sad melancholy, at the same time it showed a kind of trapping, intoxicating sweetness, however, for someone like Mikau, he could sense the deadliness dwelling inside that masquerade, he wouldn’t be fooled, but still, was diverted by the mixed emotions possessing the location.

He looked back, to see nothing but a dark screen where he came from. There was no need to think about it; he summoned a triangular blade of darkness in his left hand: The ship wouldn’t let him leave, at least, not that easily…
